Our journey began with our original bourbon distillery in Lexington, KY, where we started by meticulously mashing every ounce of grain by hand. This dedication to quality and attention to detail allowed us to create award winning spirits. But we didn’t stop there. 

The Distillery is community-focused, and gives back through their Philanthropy Barrel Program. Since its inception, Bluegrass Distillers has proudly raised over $75,000 for local non-profits through this impactful initiative. In addition to our Philanthropy Barrel Program, we have also contributed over $50,000 to various philanthropic endeavors, including our annual 5K run/walk held at Elkwood Farm in Miday, KY in the spring.

We now embark on an exciting new chapter at Elkwood Farm, located down the road from our Lexington, KY distillery in Midway, KY. Here, we have taken our devotion to the next level by growing our grains on site, expanding our production capacity, and pushing the boundaries of what exceptional spirits can truly be.
